You can also check out a zoom to record sounds at your home

  1. Mr. White will Provide you with a portable recorder and a Shotgun Microphone

  2. Working in groups of 1 or 2 (After Mr. White walks you through the use of the shotgun microphone and recorder) go out and explore the school and find some interesting audio samples for your project.

  3. After your return import your audio to your computer. Save the audio to your music folder.
    make a new folder in your music folder and name it Field Recordings inside the Field Recordings
    folder add a new folder and name it School Sounds

  4. OBJECTIVE:
    Create at least a 3 minute audio track Utilizing Samples you collected around the school or at home.
    Label each field recording piece you used for your track
